At Motocentro, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you book on this website, receive our texts, or visit our shops (Main Branch, Ususan Branch), in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

1. Information We Collect

Booking details: your name, mobile number, email (optional), your bike’s plate and model, what it needs, and your preferred day and time
Verification code: a six-digit code we text you; we keep only a hash of it, and it expires after ten minutes
Deposit payments: whether a deposit was paid and how much; your card or e-wallet details go to PayMongo and never reach us
Service records: job orders, receipts, parts bought, and your points or membership
Reviews: the rating and comment you leave from your receipt
Text consent: the date and place you agreed to texts, and the date you asked us to stop
Technical data: your IP address and browser details, seen by Cloudflare for the bot check on the booking form

2. How We Use Your Information

To prepare your slot and call you to confirm the booking
To verify that the number you gave is yours before we text it
To record the work on your bike, your receipts, and your points
To send check-up reminders and promos, only if you agreed — at most two a month, and you can stop any time
To protect the booking form from bots
To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping receipts for the BIR

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

3. Data Protection

The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Inside the shop, each employee has their own account and sees only what their work requires, and every change is logged. Payment details never pass through our system.

4. Third-Party Services

We share information only with the services that run the system, and only the part each one needs:

Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on the booking form; sees your IP address and browser details and may set a cookie
PayMongo — deposit payments by GCash, Maya, or card
UniSMS — delivery of our texts; sees the number and the message
Supabase — database hosting, on servers in Singapore
Vercel — website hosting

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and is bound to keep your information confidential.

5. Data Retention

Verification codes: ten minutes, or until used
Bookings, job orders, and receipts: while you are a customer, and for as long as the BIR requires receipts and books to be kept
Text consent: until you withdraw it; we keep the date you withdrew so you are not texted again

6. Your Rights

Right to access your personal information and request a copy
Right to correct inaccurate data — you can see your record at My membership
Right to request deletion of your data, except records the law requires us to keep
Right to opt out of marketing texts at any time, at Stop promo texts or at the counter
Right to complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph)

7. Browser Storage

This site remembers your light or dark setting and your last booking reference on your own device only, so you do not type them again. There are no ad trackers.

When we change this notice, it is posted here with the date above.
